01. Introduction
Apart from typical construction work, My Maison Design & Build Sdn Bhd is also specialised in building Data Centre for our client. Within a building itself, there should be a dedicated space to house components and infrastructure for power supply, data communications, fire suppression and various security devices.
02. Process
Raised floor system is a higher floor constructed above the original concrete slab to allow an open space in between for wiring and data centre equipment to store below. Antistatic floor is necessary to retain sufficient moisture and allow a conducting path to prevent the build-up of static electricity. The final floor finish can either be vinyl tile or high pressure laminate.
Perforated raised floor tiles have punched air holes and is used to direct airflow to maximise cooling on equipment.
03. Ideas
There are MSB room, HT supply equipment, transformer room (TX), power distribution unit (PDU), uninterrupted power supply room (UPS) which are properly planned and designed as per requirement.
Epoxy coating serves as the final finishing to the concrete floor slab to provide durable and chemically resistive surface.
In terms of fire safety legislation, we do provide fire alarm system, dry powder, control panel, break glass all over the rooms to ensure the safety of building.
